Hi all!
Sorry we're not posting as much lately, mom's doing so well, that we don't have a lot to say except that she's doing great with her treatments! They still drive back and forth daily to Tulsa for her radiation.
We're (Hillary, Ryan, Breck, Claire & I...oh, and the dogs :)) will be headed to Stigler tomorrow (Friday). The plans are to go to Stigler and enjoy a long, family weekend! Mom asked Hillary & I a few days ago if we would cook on Saturday. GiGi will be cooking the ham and Hillary & I will be trying to master mom's side dish recipies! EEK! As long as she's there helping too, we'll be fine. Poppy wants to take Claire to Stigler's Easter Egg hunt...what fun that'll be! We are planning on a weekend of egg hunting, eating, and enjoying making memories. We hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend remembering why we are really celebrating this Easter holiday! ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that the treatments are going so well, I know you'll be glad to finish them all up!! Sounds like you guys are going to have a great weekend!! We had planned on going to Stigler this evening too, but my husband feels like he has the flu and has missed his last 2 days of work, so we will have to wait and try next weekend. I look forward to hearing how your weekend went and to see the pics that were taken. You and your family are still in my thoughts and prayers daily. Have a wonderful Easter holiday!

So good to see Ryan, Hillary, Breck, Brooke at Easter Sunday Services. Main Street Baptist Choir presented some Easter music, one of which had a Southern Gospel flavor. Each time we practice or sing, especially one like that, I can feel you next to me keeping time, and, truth be told, acting a little silly with the beat, swinging' just a little. You know what I'm talking about, doncha? Miss you terribly in class and in choir. I'm not so quick with the smart alec quip as when you're there!! Save up your Easter duds for your return to us.
